I wish you the happiest birthday possible. Ever since I first saw you play for Sevilla, I fell in love with your playing and your personality. You are my favourite player of all time and I can’t imagine growing up without you. You made me smile on my worst days, you made me cry of happiness with your incredible skill and talent. I wanted to see you play on every game and when you did my heart started racing faster when you touched the ball. Your connection with Messi made me believe in something more, it made me believe in love and sports connection. I always hoped you’d score a goal, yes because you deserved it, but also because I had a little hope in my heart that you’d celebrate the goal with a dance. Whenever I’m down I only type “dani alves dancing” on youtube and I’m already smiling.
I love the fact that you are looking forward to extra time, wanting to play and run and pass as long as possible. I love that cynical smile you get after a doubtful ref’s decision. I love how you hug your Brazilian friends even when they are your opponents. I love your pranks, your laugh and your weird taste in music. 
I love your special connection with your lovely kids Victoria and Daniel.
